"A WIDER LENS"

is an Intergenerational Arts Partnership that brought students at ARHS together with Amherst-area elders for a series of collaborative sessions.  This partnership with the Amherst Senior Center involved oral history interviews, black & white film photography, and narrative painting. Ultimately, the goal is to expand intergenerational connections, challenge art students to create work based on authentic content, and honor the experiences and perspectives of our community elders. This project is made possible by the Amherst Educational Foundation.
